Being a very difficult person to fit and a stickler for good tailoring, I usually go into a purchase with the assumption that there will be an effort to get it just right. I was originally attracted to Tara Sartoria clothing by the beautiful pictures, the reasonable price-point for Mulberry silk and Tara's description of the fabric and tailoring quality. I purchased the V-neck tank in black and it was gorgeous. The fit was tight in the bust, so I tried the larger XL size. The whole tank was too large. Tara stayed in communication the whole time, very interested in exactly how they fit. She proposed that I return (the already worn) XL to try a new cut that she was coming out with in the Large. My friends would have been thrilled with the tank as is--the bust was perfect, and the body had a flowy feel--but... a bit too flowy for me.. The piece is so beautifully tailored and the sheen and weight of the silk are superior to others that I've owned. That with the longer length which I love, made it well worth my tailor taking it in a bit at the sides for the perfect fit. All through the process Tara worked with me and it felt like I had my own personal shopper. One with a very generous amount of patience and kindness.
That's all to say that this is my favorite silk top and now that I've got my sizing down, a few more pieces are in the planning stage. Thank you Tara!

This is my second silk robe although the first from Tara. It is so well made with two extra ties as well as belt so things always stay in place. I’ve only had the 22mm silk, this one is 27mm however is still as soft and slinky as the 22mm and will last even longer. The 3/4 sleeves are a blessing as the full sleeves are always too long for my arms.
The price point is perfect and it shipped to me in Kelowna, BC in great time.

This style of sleeveless top was exactly what I was looking for. For such a reasonable price it was so pleasant to receive a piece with such good quality fabric. I noticed the French seams even before reading about them on the card. As someone with 50 years of sewing experience I know what to look for . . . and this would be it!

I am in love with my new pajamas! I look forward to the in the rotation of my pjs so I can wear this pair. I love the silk, the quality is amazing & I absolutely love the way they feel on my skin. The way the silk is made seems to make them more durable without taking away from how beautifully the material flows. This was my favorite Christmas present I got this last holiday. The company worked with me cause I got my size wrong at first but the company was very good about helping me with the return & finding the best size to fit me best. I love this fabric so much that I wish all my silk was this same quality, these are by far better than the very expensive pjs made with inferior silk! I plan to fill my closet with this brand! I highly recommend these pajamas & the style is so perfect that these can be worn as clothing.

Well-made, adorable little scrunchies! The colors are beautiful. They are excellent at holding up long hair.

This pillowcase is excellent quality! The silk is amazingly thick, the color is beautiful, and the seams are flawless. I can tell that a lot of love and care went into it. I know my daughter is going to love it!

My silk shirt arrived and it surpasses my expectations. It is pure luxury, and great fit.

I bought a couple of these as gifts, so I unfortunately do not have photos. The recipients have told me, though, how much they adore them! They appreciate the impeccable tailoring and excellent quality of the silk! They also appreciated how thoughtfully their gifts were packaged, with detailed care instructions, a beautifully tailored silk pouch to store the nightgown in, and also a lovely little hair scrunchie! Finally, they mentioned to me many times over how comfortable the Nightgowns have been to sleep in! I’m so happy that the gifts were so well loved! I purchased two colors , and have been wearing them almost all the time! What a soft refreshing touch . It’s a dream for summer! Normally I wear XL, but I ordered here from Tara the size L, and it fits me perfectly!

i’m 5 feet two and a size small fit me perfectly. This is the first silk robe I have bought for myself. It is excellent quality and so comfortable! I was very surprised to find that The length on me was perfect despite my height. It is a gorgeous deep blue color. I very much appreciated the detailed care instructions, and also, knowing who put love and care into making this Beautiful robe. all of this information is on the tags which are attached to the lovely silk bag that the robe is packaged in. Over the past 5 years, I’ve purchased just about every brand of silk pajamas there - and these BY FAR are simply the best quality in every aspect.

The silk itself begs belief as to how thick and soft it is (it feels twice the weight of the more expensive established brands), it is not transparent, it flows beautifully.

The craftsmanship & stitching is truly top notch, with full French seams throughout ensuring longevity.

This particular design is also wonderful, having the full leg bottoms with an elasticated comfort fit waistband AND a quality silk drawstring if needed, also they have functional POCKETS!. A lovely lighter top, over the traditional button down design, slips on and off with ease is perfect for warmer evenings (or warmer persons!).

There is also a silk bag to store them in, which has proven very useful when traveling.

I believe they also came with a pretty silk hair accessory, ample information on quality and care, along with a warm, personal note from the owner herself.
