From Historic Silk Villages

Our silk comes from Vietnam's historic silk villages, where weaving knowledge has been passed through generations.

We buy directly from Vietnam's historic silk villages, where the silk is woven on heritage looms.

We use 27 momme silk.

That number sounds technical because it is. Momme measures silk fabric density.

If you've handled very thin silk, you know the feeling: beautiful, but you are faintly nervous about sitting down in it. Ours has more weight and a fuller drape.

At 27 momme, it contains substantially more silk by weight than 19-22 momme fabric.

We chose that weight because these pieces are meant to be worn often, washed and kept.

Zero Waste, Full Respect

From the beginning, we have honored a zero-waste philosophy. Every cut-off from robes, pillowcases, or dresses is saved and transformed into scrunchies, eye masks, or other small luxuries.

Nothing is wasted: not the earth's resources, not the artisans' labor, not the silk itself. Every thread is given new life.
