Return & Exchange Policy

At Tara Sartoria, every silk piece is individually handcrafted. We want you to feel absolutely wonderful in your garment, so if something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to make it easy for you.

U.S. Orders

Exchanges (Preferred)

  • Free exchanges within 30 days of delivery.
  • We’ll provide a prepaid return label and send your replacement at no cost.
  • Items must be in original condition: unworn, unwashed, tags attached, and free from scents, stains, or damage.

Returns

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
  • No restocking fee.
  • Customers cover both the original shipping cost and the return shipping cost, unless the item is defective or was sent in error.
  • Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect your return.
  • If your order included a promotional gift, the gift must be returned or its value will be deducted from the refund.

International Orders

  • Due to the complexity of customs and high shipping costs, we cannot offer exchanges or returns on international orders.
  • To ensure a perfect fit, international customers are encouraged to contact us for personal sizing support before ordering.

Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled or modified within 12 hours of purchase, provided they haven’t shipped. After that, our normal return/exchange process applies.

Sustainability Note

Because each garment is individually crafted in limited quantities, we encourage you to choose carefully. If you’re unsure about sizing or style, please reach out before ordering - Tara, the owner, is always happy to advise.

Processing

  • We respond to return/exchange requests within 1 business day.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • For exchanges, replacements ship once your return is received and inspected.
